Grain Science Graduate Student Organization (GSGSO)
The Grain Science Graduate Student Organization (GSGSO) is the student organization representing graduate students in the Department of Grain Science at Kansas State University.
GSGSO provides Grain Science graduate students opportunities for professional development, networking, leadership, and community involvement. GSGSO awards members travel grants to present their research and scholarly work at professional meetings and to attend conferences, as well as awards participants GSGSO pridewear at the end of each academic year. Students participate in a variety of activities including sharing research, volunteer work, departmental support, philanthropic events, and social gatherings.
The organization meets on the second Wednesday of every month at 5:30 in Shellenberger Hall room 311.
