Bio Brief
As the Education Manager for the IGP Institute, April leads the design and management of the professional development distance education programs and coordinates with IGP staff, Department of Grain Science and Industry faculty, and industry professionals to support the delivery of quality on-site and virtual workshops, programs, and courses.
In 2023, April transitioned to IGP from K-State's English Language Program, where she was a faculty instructor and advising coordinator. She taught courses to international students at all levels of English proficiency, assisted students in transitioning to their academic study programs and in applying for graduate study, and developed courses for online, face-to-face, and hybrid presentation modes for the ELP and external partners. April came to K-State from the University of Dayton, where she was an associate program manager in the Intensive English Program.
