Why Grain Science?
Our department offers degrees in Bakery Science and Management, Feed and Pet Food Science, Food Science and Industry and Milling Science and Management. K-State is the only university in the country to offer a four-year Bakery Science and Management and the only institution in the world to offer a four-year Feed and Pet Food Science and Milling Science and Management degrees.
Our graduate program is internationally recognized offering students with applied and basic research opportunities.
Here, students receive technical training that prepares them for successful careers working in the bakery, animal food, milling and bio-based product industries.
