The IGP Institute and AFIA are teaming up to provide exceptional educational courses designed specifically for professionals in the feed industry. The convenient distance education courses are ideal for individuals of all levels interested in gaining a better understanding of the feed manufacturing process.
The five-week courses are self-paced to allow participants the freedom to work at their own allotment, while engaging in online discussions about the course material. Registrants receive instructions via email on how to access course material on the K-State website and obtain a password shortly before the course begins. Courses consist of narrated slide lectures, quizzes and exercises.
Developed by the feed technology group in K-State's Department of Grain Science and Industry, courses range from fundamentals to advanced topics. All course materials are based on current industry practices and standards.
Course tuition, which covers all materials, is $499 for AFIA members and $685 for non-members. Registration information can be found on AFIA’s events page.
