Dr. Xin Yang earned his doctorate in food science from the National University of Singapore and completed postdoctoral research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His research spans food science, materials chemistry, and nutrient delivery, with a focus on developing food-grade delivery platforms that enhance the stability, bioavailability, and real-world effectiveness of essential micronutrients. His research vision centers on advancing the Food as Medicine paradigm by integrating sustainable materials design, mechanistic insights into food–health interactions, and translational strategies to address global nutrition and chronic disease challenges.
