Bio Brief
Dr. Han Peng is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Grain and Food Science at Kansas State University. He received his B.S. (Bioengineering) and M.S. (Nutrition) from Nanchang University (2010-2017). His Ph.D. (Food Chemistry) and postdoctoral trainings (Food Analytical Chemistry) were completed at Memorial University of Newfoundland (2017-2023) and UC Davis (2023-2026), respectively.
His current responsibilities include 75% research and 25% teaching. His work integrates analytical and food chemistry to explore the composition and metabolites of complex food and feed systems, aiming to improve sustainability, safety, quality, functionality, and processing strategy of food/feed products.
