Grain Science and Industry

Ingrain Yourself

The Grain Science and Industry program at Kansas State University invites you to take a close look at our degree programs, which prepare students for work in good-paying industries that have a shortage of qualified applicants.

K-State's Grain Science and Industry program is the only place in the United States that offers college degrees in Bakery Science & Management, Feed Science & Management, or Milling Science & Management - granting not only Bachelor of Science degrees in these areas, but also Graduate Degree, as well as Minors Program.

Since these degrees are in such high demand, our graduates receive some of the highest salary offers of any on the K-State campus. Graduates typically have a choice of what type of work they will do and even whether they will have live in a city, rural community, or abroad.

Scholarships, assistantships, and Internships are available for many students seeking financial assistance or direct industry experience.

By the time you graduate our program, you will have a good understanding of the types and varieties of careers available to you, as well as the knowledge and skills you need to be successful.
