Feed Science Club

The Feed Science Club is for any student enrolled in Feed Science and Management or any student interested in learning more about the livestock/pet food industries. Industry professionals visit with the group throughout the year to give the students a look into their industry and to discuss possible career opportunities with the students. One of the fundraisers for the Club is baking dog treats in our Pet Food Research area. The treats are sold at Open House, K-State Farmer’s Market, as well as at several of the Bake Club sales in Shellenberger Hall. The students have the opportunity to attend the Grain Elevators and Processing Society Expo (GEAPS), the International Production and Processing Expo (IPPE), or the Pet Food Forum every year, which includes internship and career interviews as well as current industry information and presentations.

The Club is continually growing and is always looking for interested students to join! Check out our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/feedsci/!
